Love, I'll be back within the hour. I'm sorry to have kept you waiting, but I wanted to help with the afternoon crowd before I left, and I had a very late night last night.

I don't think we managed to come any closer to a solution in regards to Hermione's mother, or Simon, Remus's friend, but I do think we were able to sort out some other things.

As much as they can be sorted out.

He very much needed someone to talk to, I know that much. So I was glad to be able to do that for him.

I'm still worried, goodness knows how I can get, but at least now he knows that he can talk to me again if he needs it.

I feel all wrung out. I cannot wait to come home. I just wanted to let you know when to expect me.

He's had to try for such a long time to sort out what other people want from him that I think it's hard for him to know what he truly wants. He spent ten years trying to stay one step ahead of Him, separated from all the people he thought were his friends, and its taken a toll. He wants so badly to please, to do what he ought, like it's all going to be taken away from him if he doesn't, that his own happiness doesn't even enter into the picture. It took nearly a half a bottle of wine for him to admit to that much.

I don't know what I would have done if I had to go through what he went through alone. We faced some rough patches, yes, but they were on our own terms, and we faced them together.

I'm so very glad I have you, love. Glad and grateful and incredibly lucky.
