Since Charlie's been talking about Easter Hols, I figure it would be a good idea to think through other ways we might use our time wisely.

Last year, we managed to get together several revision sessions for upcoming OWLs and Apparation lessons. Is there any additional training that might be useful for people? I was thinking we might have extra defence sessions at the outdoors course at Moddey Dhoo for those who can get away for an hour or two, and if there was another specific training that you might want, please let us know so that we can make arrangements. And Luna, is there anything we can help you with as you prepare for your OWLs?

Harry, Draco, Hydra, I know it will be more difficult for you all to get away regularly during hols, but I was wondering if we might be able to schedule a meeting with Ron and Pansy at Grimmauld (using Tea Appreciation as a cover) to talk further about the council challenge -- security measures, any ways we could further provide immediate support, and thinking about potential future options and goals depending on how things go for you all this term.

We might also have to have a larger Order meeting depending on everyone's availability -- we certainly have enough cauldrons on the fire to keep track of, and it may be our best chance to talk as a group before the end of term.

First of all, I really did appreciate our conversation the other day. It was long overdue, and I'm so glad we sat down together.

Thinking ahead to our next meeting -- I'm still working through potential usefulness of the modified Fidelius. One of the things I'll certainly want to spend some time on would be your thoughts regarding how to best train other people in casting it. We've only used it the once, and our ability to replicate our results with potentially inexperienced casters is highly uncertain. How might we hedge our bets? How could they prepare without casting the full spell?

Looking through my notes about your horcrux research, I'm interested in further exploring the resurrection rite that Harry observed from a tactical perspective -- sorting out how the rite might be significantly disrupted, and what you think the results of that would be.

What if the person housing his soul were to be killed before or during the rite? What if the potion were to be tampered with? Is there a truly critical moment of the ceremony where his soul might be the most vulnerable, and what might we do about it? I know it's far from a permanent solution, but being able to potentially significantly delay the inevitable or diminish his power would be useful, and something we could be in a position to accomplish if we play our cards carefully.

Also -- does the horcrux have to be accessed or used in any way before the rite, or does it simply have to exist passively somewhere?

I know you might not have any answers for me right away, but I wanted to let you know what I've been chewing over since we spoke last.

While I'm thinking about it -- you mentioned you might have some potential names to put forward for consideration for Order membership around Easter hols. There's no immediate rush, of course, but I'd be interested in talking further over hols, perhaps.

Is there anyone else besides Ginny that you or the rest of the Hogwarts contingent had in mind?

Well, I come of age during hols. I imagine that before the 17th I won't be able to get away from the Strettons but after that, I can go to 12GP or Moddey or anywhere and extra defence sessions sound like a good idea to me.
