Charlie, I'd like you to keep a sharp eye out tomorrow.

I'm wondering if some of us might be free to do ley-flying as well, to keep an eye on the magical fields? I know that Charlie will be otherwise occupied, as will the rest of the Weasleys and our ISS members. Kingsley, might you and the Players head out to the Walsingham site to monitor things from there?

Caradoc and Dorcas and I can devote some time, yes. I did promise Terry to take him to the Opening for an hour or so around mid-afternoon (he'll be the Professor and I'll be Polyjuiced), but we can fly a run in the morning and early afternoon.

Dora has to go to Dover to our clearing house. Aleks did manage to send a load of items through the legitimate channels (right up to the legal limits) and we've had such a busy couple of days that we desperately need the stock.

(Interestingly, they were being held up in customs and suddenly we got word this afternoon that the extra influx has been authorised. Probably to do with the closure of all those other businesses Wednesday night. There was something in the paper today but it wasn't very conclusive as to why they were shuttered six days before Christmas.)

Anyway, she's volunteered to go down there in the morning, and we do all want to go and support Molly and the twins, at some point, but we might be able to manage something if we're needed.

I got my owl from the Aurors.

It came yesterday morning. Friday, I mean. It's Saturday already, I think, now. Not sure. Anywiz.

I'm going to go on with it. Unless Mum says I absolutely can't. I'm just meant to turn up Monday morning for a briefing. They didn't give us time to think too much, did they? I think there might be a couple of seventh years who got invited, as well. I'm not sure. Only, a few owls came in the same post that looked official like mine. I suppose I'll find out on Monday, yeah?

I think at this point we have to think that whatever they're doing to the wards, it doesn't involve the dragons anymore. Or if it does, it's not at all in the same way. It's been quiet as hell up here for the past few weeks -- nothing at all like the last few years.
