Goodness, spring is a long time coming.

Hermione, Evie, Cecelia Perks seems quite on board with your theories regarding the Octoborus, and its next activation cycle. We'll have to keep our eyes on the West coast to see if we can't pinpoint the next one. She seems to think that once we have this additional location, it will be far easier to locate the remainder.

We're awaiting spring and planting season here at Moddey, and are all heartily sick of canned tomatoes. Our winter stores don't offer much by way of variety this time of year, and we'll have a while yet before our summer bounty, and sorely miss Aleks and his shipments around this time of year especially. We did have the incredible luck of getting a rather generous basket of jams, however, which was quite the treat. Arista Selwyn was in raptures over the kiwi, and insisted every single person try a spoonful, after assuring everyone that it was made of the fruit, not the bird.

Davidson is likewise looking forward to warmer weather, although he was quite chipper at our last meeting, and was especially interested in our talk of trains. Severus, you'll be pleased to hear that the on-site brewing operation at Sherwood has its legs, and is producing a very respectable amount of pepper-up and salve, and their very own potions greenhouse should be up and running in a few weeks with some starter seedlings from us to help them on their way.

Kingsley, Molly, Tonks, Charlie, there might be a need for some camp visits to pick up our latest crop. The papers are ready, and you can go at your convenience. The button network hasn't reported any further activity of persons looking for recently born infants or pregnant women in the camps, which is a blessing, and I'm sure we'll have a little more breathing room this time around.

And Bill, your final report on the camp work was also a much needed bright spot in this cold and dreary weather. Apparently, the camps are now back to their normal schedule of rations. Tonks, Kingsley, I know you were working tirelessly on helping to provide the effected camps with support -- and thanks to the clever implementation of glamours and coordination with the button network and Sherwood, we were able to show a fairly decent picture of weakened and unhealthy workers while passing along some extra supplies and nutritional supplements to help lessen the blow. We were also able to smuggle out a significant number of people under the cover of an expected increase in the death rate -- by Davidson's count, nearly fifty all told. I'm quite pleased, and we have quite a few more allies in those camps than when we started this endeavour.

I'll be looking for a follow-up meeting with Ridley in the next few weeks to discuss our next move -- Sirius, we might chat about that a little beforehand -- I'd rather keep that particular door open, and our last mutual venture was rather successful. I'd also like to arrange a meeting with Rachel Brodie. Separately.

And lastly, has there been any progress at all regarding our understanding of Minerva's predicament? Justin, Severus, Poppy, have you found anything that might help us help her? I know it hasn't been long -- but any news no matter how small would go a long way towards easing my heart.
